DUNEDIN: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Tuesday, announced Pakistan’s Playing XI for the third T20I against New Zealand, which will be played tomorrow at the University Oval.
Pakistan have made three changes to the side, which suffered losses against New Zealand in the first two T20Is.
All-rounder Mohammad Nawaz, Mohammad Wasim Jnr and pace bowler Zaman Khan will replace all-rounder Aamir Jamal, spinner Usama Mir and injured pacer Abbas Afridi in the lineup for the third T20I.
The Playing XI features Pakistan captain Shaheen Afridi, his deputy Mohammad Rizwan, Saim Ayub, Babar Azam, Fakhar Zaman, Iftikhar Ahmed, Azam Khan (wk), Mohammad Nawaz, Mohammad Wasim Jnr, Haris Rauf, and Zaman Khan.

Young pace bowler Abbas Afridi was earlier been ruled out of the third T20I due to discomfort from a low-grade abdominal wall muscle strain.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) confirmed his unavailability for the third T20I today.
“His [Abbas] scan has shown no sign of significant injury, and he will be managed symptomatically,” the PCB stated.
“His availability for the last 2 games will be made at a later stage.”

New Zealand are currently leading the five-match T20I series 2-0 and will look to seal the series in the third match on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, New Zealand’s captain Kane Williamson is set to miss the remaining matches of the series after suffering a hamstring injury during the second T20I. He is expected to be replaced by Tim Seifert.
Williamson was already set to miss the third game on Wednesday, and with the first Test against South Africa less than three weeks away, he would sit out the final two games as well.
